monotype, screenprint, iNtaglio, reliefAmphoras are a series of mixed media prints using screenprint, intaglio, relief and monotype. Exploring monotype's characteristics including: spontaneity of washes, veils of translucent layers of ink, deep sensuous color, mystery and sequential arrangements of objects, symbols and patterns. Filled with a mélange of iconography, Cycladic art and Greek vases, images are arranged into a context, rhythmic and surreal. These images serve as a shared shorthand for the interrelationship of all things, the continuum of the human experience and its connection to the present.
